European Journal of Digital Economy Research (EJDER) is the official publication of TDMI (Turkish Design Management Institute).

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission’s compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • The ‘Journal Publishing Agreement’ form has been signed by all authors.

Author Guidelines

  • EJDER does not charge any publication fee.
  • The manuscripts will be accepted in good English with American or British usage but not both. Proofread reports for submission will be required in a Pdf format from the authors whose mother tongue is not English.
  • The suitability of the manuscripts submitted to the journal will primarily be evaluated by the editors.
  • Authors will be asked to complete a ‘Journal Publishing Agreement‘ during the submission period.
  • All the manuscripts are checked for plagiarism after submission. If plagiarism is detected in any stage of the reviewing process, then the manuscript will be rejected.
  • All submitted manuscripts go through a double-blind review process.
  • Submitted manuscripts should not have been previously published or be currently under consideration for publication elsewhere.
  • Conference papers may only be submitted if the paper has been completely re-written and the author has cleared any necessary permissions with the copyright owner if it has been previously copyrighted.
  • One author must be specified as the corresponding author with “contact details, e-mail address and full postal address“.
  • Title page with author details including only “the title, authors’ names, affiliations, acknowledgements and any declaration of Interest statement, and a complete address for the corresponding author including an e-mail address” must be the first page of the manuscript.
  • Required files in the paper are as follows: Keywords, figures and tables with the definitions of the titles, indication of colorful prints if necessary. All references should be mentioned. Including the Internet sources, all the materials, tables and figures obtained for use should be copyrighted. In addition, the manuscript should have clearly defined sections such as Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Conclusions, Artwork and Tables with Captions. Necessary citations or quotations should be ensured.
  • The raw data of the paper may be asked for to be provided by the editorial board.
  • The subsections should be numbered 1.1 (then 1.1.1, 1.1.2, …), 1.2, etc. (the abstract, introduction, and conclusion are not included in section numbering.
  • APA (American Psychological Association) style must be used in the references.
  • Briefs and research notes are not published in EJDER.
  • When there is a significant error in the published work, it is obligatory for the author to notify the journal editor and cooperate to correct the errors.
